Kenneth Boles Obituary

KENNETH AUSTIN BOLES, 68, of Charlton Heights, WV died November 11, 2023, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Kenny was a Christian and a follower of Jesus. He was a loving and kind man who was loved by so many.
Kenny was born April 28, 1955, in Montgomery, WV. He was the son of Gaynell Boles of Jodie, WV and the late Austin Boles.
Kenny was a 1973 graduate of Gauley Bridge High School and a graduate of WVIT receiving a mechanical engineering degree. He worked 42 years as an electrician in the mining industry and was a member of the UMWA.
Kenny loved fishing, old westerns, cars, sitting on his porch talking to family and friends and grilling a big steak. He loved his family most of all.
He always said the happiest and proudest day of his life was when K.B. was born, looking into the eyes of his baby boy. He loves and is even prouder of him today.
He was predeceased by his father, Austin Boles; Mother-in-law, Mary Peters, grandparents, aunts and uncles. One granddaughter, Kylie and three other grandchildren, which God took as angels before we could have them.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Peters Boles; son, Kenneth Austin Boles II (KB) and his wife, Miranda Holcomb Boles; grandchildren, Lucas, Maxwell, William and Katelyn Boles; Mother, Mona Gaynell Boles; sister, Susan Boles Tawney and husband James; brother-in-law, Donald Peters (Cindy) and fur babies, Rocky, Raven, Ivy, Casper and Maggie.
Per Kenny's wishes, he will be cremated and remain with Debbie until the time of her death when they can be interred together. There will be no services.

The family would like to thank the doctors (Dr. John) and nurses of Thomas Memorial Hospital and Kanawha Valley Hospice for their love and care for Kenny through his journey. They would also like to thank the many family and friends for the love and support they received. A special thank you to Jim and Diane Reed for always being there over the years when we needed you.
