Diana Phillips Obituary

Diana Kaye Phillips, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday March 6, 2022 at the age of 72, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Kaye was born to Clyde and Erma Phillips on April 30, 1949 in Houston, TX. After graduating from high school, Kaye pursued her dreams of Psychology at the University of Texas where she met her husband and together, they had two children: Les and Chase.

Kaye was passionate and warm hearted in everything she pursued, singing a tune to whatever she was doing. one of her biggest passions was caring for every animal near and far, making sure they were protected and loved. Kaye also was a lover of food. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating homemade meals from scratch for her family. But most important of all she believed and trusted in Jesus to be her personal Lord and savior.

She is survived by a loving family: (son and daughter-in-law) Les & Debi Chapman, (son) Chase Chapman, and her Grandchildren Taylor, Layne, Cort & Erika Chapman, and her one and only Great Granddaughter Kenya Chapman. (Brother) Jack & Sue Phillips, and nieces and nephews, Eric and Sherrie Friedrich, Mark Phillips, Mitch & Sharron Millan, Bill & Corina Eiler, Robert & Jeanette Eiler.

There will be a Celebration of Life service scheduled for Saturday noon, on April 30th, 2022, on her Birthday, at 215 Wood creek Dr., Wimberley, Tx. Come dressed comfortably that's how she would like it.

Chase & Les,

I loved your momma so much. She had a kind heart, and a gentle soul. Her laughter was contagious and sincere. I will always cherish my memories of the time we had together. Love and peace to all of you.

I first met Kaye in the late 70's when we both worked at the Tx State School for the Deaf. She was a bus driver and I was the switchboard operator. We both moved on from those jobs, but remained friends ever since. We had a lot of fun times and adventures together. I will miss her dearly
