Constance Cronin Obituary

Constance B. Cronin, 95, of Bristol, RI, formerly of Manchester, NH died Wednesday October 24, 2023 after an illness.

Born August 3, 1928 in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of Ernest & Violet (Michaud) Boisvert. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School. In 1951 she married her husband Justin A. Cronin and they enjoyed 40 years of marriage until his death in 1990.

Constance spent most of her career as a customer service manager with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She also worked at the registrar's office at NH College for 7 years.

Constance loved to travel. She volunteered for many years at Catholic Medical Center Prime Time program where she made many good friends. She was a voracious reader, well known to librarians in whatever town she happened to be residing in. She imparted her love of reading to her children early on with frequent trips to the Manchester Library and could always be depended upon for a great book recommendation. She was a member of St. Catherine's Church when she lived in Manchester.

Constance is survived by her children Sheila Desrochers & her husband Richard of Newport, RI, Maureen Marosits & her husband Mark of Newport, RI, Linda Ricci of Milton, VT & Kenneth Cronin of Boston, MA; grandchildren Gregory McCarthy, Alison Desrochers, Michael Marosits & Justin Ricci; 2 great grandchildren; sisters Aimee Discoll & her husband James of North Carolina and Claire Nagle of Oxford, OH; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Justin Cronin.

SERVICES: A service of remembrance for Constance will be held Saturday November 11th at 10 am at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH followed by committal at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford, NH.
