I have known your Father, Grandfather for many years. In 1959 I was hired to work for the Leo H. Maher Insurance Company where he was a partner. In 1960, we needed another employee so I told them about a person I met, through a mutual friend, who worked for an Insurance company and was interested in working for another company because she thought present company was going out of business. When interviewed both Leo A. and Leo H. thought she would be a good fit for the company. That was your Mother Carol Wechtel Maher. The rest is history as she and Leo got married and were blessed with 32 years of marriage.
I have such wonderful memories of working with your Father. I had no Insurance experience and he patiently thought me. He always had interesting stories to tell. After your Mother went to Heaven I would see him at Bob Evans and we would talk. He would keep me up to date on his family. He missed your Mother so terribly. They are now in Heaven with each other and Jesus.
You were blessed with wonderful parents. So sorry for your loss.
