DALLAS TWP. — Dennis L. Wilson, Sr. of Kunkle, Dallas Township, Pa., born in 1950, in Newark, N.J., to the late Henry J. Wilson and the late Barbara Ann Brown, passed on Nov. 8, 2023.
He attended school at Central Regional High School in Bayville, N.J., and later became a mechanic. Throughout his life, he was employed by Nanticoke Ford, Clarks Summit Lincoln Mercury, and most recently was the service manager at Coccia Ford.
On July 15, 1967 he married the love of his life, Cynthia A. Wilson. Dennis was a member of the Back Mountain Bowling League, and also enjoying golfing and hunting in his free time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Henry, Wayne and Scott Wilson; sister, Dawn Schoentube; brother-in-law, Charlie Fisher; sister-in-law, Nancy Fisher; and son-in-law, Stanley Egan.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cynthia A. Wilson; son, Dennis L. Wilson, Jr. of Sweet Valley; daughter, Cynthia Egan of Moreauville, La.; daughters by choice/heart: Victoria Spillane (James) of N.J.; Karen Patterson (Tom) of Hunlock Creek; grandchildren: Ashley Sickler (Steve), Mark Wilson (Maria), Miles Wilson, Cynthia Devens (Jarvis), Mason Egan (Savannah); seven great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Wilson (Kim); brothers-in-law: Francis Fisher (Dee), Martin Fisher, Willis Fisher (Debbie); sister-in-law, Joyce Sue Wilson; best friend, Gary Opalenik (Etta); several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m. at the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park.
