Mr. Gerth will be abundantly missed! We worked together at Southwest Leadership Academy. He was a good friend of mine and a great teacher who cared a lot about his students. He was a caring and encouraging man and I thank the my Lord for bringing him into my life. I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for all, his loving and dear family, for comfort and peace during this trying time.

Dear Gerth family and friends,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Rich. He was a old friend and an all-around great person. I always appreciated his kindness, humor and wonderful people skills. I know his students cherished him when he was in Philadelphia and Bucks County. We met in junior high when he played with my friends band. He was so funny and sweet. Later we can reconnected when we both lived up the street from each other on fourth and Bainbridge in Philadelphia. I have a wonderful gigantic painting he gave me that still sits on my back porch. It came from Palumbo´s. When I lived in Yardley he
and Sam will come play with my boys.
We lost contact when I moved to Connecticut but I tried to reach out to him a couple months ago. I offer my deepest condolences to each of you. May he rest in peace. May the family heal and find comfort. I am so sorry.
Sincerely,
Jackie
