My deepest sympathy to the entire Shaw family with the passing of your mother. Russ and Carrie you are in prayers.

Dear Russel, Donna, and Dot´s family
Our mother is Lauriel Caulkins, who went to school and was good friends with your Mom for all their lives. She still mentions your parents and especially your mom very fondly when we drive past your old home on Flanders Road, Niantic. We remember visiting you all at that house when we were children. Mom and I last spoke to your mom the summer before last and we talked about getting together with her. I truly wish I had followed up on their conversation and made that happen.
In your time of sadness and loss please know that mom treasured their friendship and loved your mom very much. I also appreciated their relationship and I am very sad to hear of her passing.

Dottie was a beautiful person, inside and out. She had such a wonderful sense of humor, love for her families and a great joy of life. She will forever hold fond memories to all whom knew her. God bless you all
