Paul Griggs Obituary

Paul Elliott Griggs, age 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home on 10.31.2023. Paul was a jack of all trades and a devoted Catholic husband and father. He never met a stranger and had a smile that always lit up a room. Paul is survived by his wife Susan, daughters: Anna Griggs, Ashton Griggs, Adaline (Jessie) Tullos, Aryanne Griggs, and son Austin (Melanie) Griggs as well as his grandsons Kaleb and Sylis Williams, great grandson Thomas Williams, and his siblings Laurett (Mike) Turner, Janell (Brent) Devall, and Beth (Carl) Cryer. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Helen Griggs and his brother Leo Louis Griggs, Jr. Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023, from 4:00-7:30 pm at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow from 7:30-8:00 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 9:00- 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Denham Springs; followed by mass beginning at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
