Joseph DAWSON Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Patrick Dawson passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2023. Joe was born on September 2, 1941, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to Earl and Gertrude Dawson. He was the youngest of nine children. Joe graduated from Gonzaga University with a masters of education. He worked as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent until he retired in 2001. Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, JoAnn, sons, Jeff, Greg, Ken, and Doug, brother, Jim, sister, Mary, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to Horizon Hospice for their wonderful support. Rosary to be held on Thursday, November 16th, at 5pm, and funeral to be held on Friday, November 17th, at 11am, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Spokane Valley.
