Rest in peace Hector

I have known Hector since moving from England to America in the early seventies, even before he married his beautiful wife. Strange to think upon this but I belive that I have even known Hector longer than I have known my own Mother. Hector was a good friend and com padre. I will miss him so. We organized and participated in disability rights issues at a time when this topic was at the forefront of discussion in the U.S. "The Americans with Disabilities Act". was won because of people like Hector. He was strong, loyal to his friends, polite, even opening doors for the ladies. Hector had a lovely daughter who is a credit to both parents. Hector lived a full life and I feel proud to have known him.

Hector and his kindness were a beacon of light in my childhood. When I came over to play with Liz, he was always so welcoming and made me really feel like part of the family. I have many memories of him giving us “rides” from school, and going to Fiesta Texas and riding the roller coasters with us over and over again. He had a personality bigger than anything and a sense of humor to match. Prayers for his family. I still hold you all dear in my heart.

I was Hectors viatrans driver in the morning back in the 80s he was living at home with his mom.i remember he liked to play joke's in the morning on his to his work on 800 dolorosa st.rip Hector.

It was a pleasure to know Hector - he was a very kind gentleman. Many prayers for Lucy and his family. May you all find peace in God's Love.

Well, my old friend, you and Lucille accomplished more in life than most folks. I enjoyed working with you and building your home. Rest in the loving arms of Jesus knowing that Lucille can call upon me anytime she needs help.

RIP Hector

My deepest condolences to Lucy, Elizabeth, and all of Hector´s family. Hector had a great sense of humor. I had the privilege of working with Hector at HUD and visiting with him at UTSA football games. He will be missed.

What an incredible person. In spite of his disability he found his way to work at HUD every morning and brought with him good will and humor. He was surely one of a kind and i am so thankful to have had him as my good friend. I will surely miss Hector and May he rest in Peace!

Hector was a dedicated HUD co-worker and friend. He will be greatly missed. Your family are in my prayers.
