Russell Reddington

April 28, 1930 - October 10, 2023

Citrus Heights, California - Russell William Reddington (Russ) passed into the arms of Jesus on October 10, 2023, at the age of 93. He was born April 28, 1930, to Freida and Frank Reddington in Hallock, MN. He graduated from Hallock High School and Dakota Business College (Fargo, N.D.) He was hardworking with a long career in insurance and carpet sales for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Idelle and 4 children; Kimberly Fanning (Jim), Michelle Woody (Jeff), Sue Hagedorn (Bill), Kevin Reddington (Sheila). He was a beloved Papa to 7 grandchildren; Jimmy Fanning, Kyle and Justin Woody, Will and Brittany Hagedorn, Bailey and Avery Reddington.

Russ proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was stationed in Korea and Japan in the 24th Infantry Division. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War. The family will celebrate the long blessed life of Russ on Saturday, Nov. 4th at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church, 4100 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks, CA. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Faith Lutheran Church (faithfairoaks.com) or to Veterans of Foreign Wars (https://www.vfw.org/)
