Gerald Schmidt Obituary
September 4, 1943 - November 6, 2023
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents William and Blanche Schmidt; sister Laura Jean Schmidt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Claudia Schmidt (Cremeen); children G. Robert (Kim) Schmidt, Jon (Cherie) Schmidt, and Timothy (Andrea) Schmidt; grandchildren Jacob, Wyatt, Van, and Jamie Schmidt.
Visitation to take place on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bethany Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Gerald Catholic Church (9602 Q St., Ralston, NE. 68127).
Burial with Military Honors at the Omaha National Cemetery.

SO VERY SORRY to hear about Gary. Our Deepest Condolences. Gary was always very pleasant to be around, and I am proud to call him my classmate. I'll remember him that way and enjoyed seeing him at all our class reunions. It was nice to see and meet who he married and will miss him in this world. Our many prayers for all of you.
