Lula Haynes Obituary

Lula Haynes, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 103. Ms. Lula was a faithful member of Little Zion Baptist Church for 75 years. She leaves to cherish her blessed and highly favored legacy to her daughter, Valeria F. Edwards; niece, Carmineal W.P. (Paul) Bonds; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ms. Haynes is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Nellie G. Haynes; siblings, Noisy Washington, Sr., Gearge, William, Libert, Lavern " Buddy" and Esther "Tee Tee" Haynes, Lucille Pate, Pearl Hebert Cammeal "Lil Child" Price and Anita Fields. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Ms. Lula Haynes at Little Zion Baptist Church, 3231 Audubon Street, New Orleans, LA 70125 on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 10 am, Rev. Walter Hardy, Jr., Officiating. Interment Providence Park Cemetery, Metairie, LA. Visitation 9 am in the church. Due to Covid variants, facemask and social distancing encouraged.
