Survivors include; son, Herbert R. Martin of Athens; daughter, Brenda Kennedy of Niota; six grandchildren, Lisa and Rod Trawick of Nicholasville, Ky, Michelle Adams of Douglasville, Ga., Sonya and Andy Gross of Oak Ridge, TN, Darena and Henry Clayton of Etowah, Rebecca Kennedy of Niota,and Mark and Jennifer Kennedy of Delano,TN.; 17 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friend Joyce Ann Martin Fairbanks.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 25, 2022 at Eastanallee Cemetery with Rev. Mike Dannel officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Kennedy, Rod Trawick, Henry Clayton, Andy Gross, Tony Reynolds, and Keith Martin. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30pm Friday at the funeral home before the service.
