Dr. Kasparian took care of my father at Jefferson in 1974 and later, in 1981, he was my mentor and guide at Graduate Hospital where I was a cardiology fellow for 2 years.
He was a skilled interventional cardiologist and a kind, warm and compassionate physician. He was affectionately known as HK and trained many aspiring young physicians to go on to meaningful careers in medicine.
He was partnered with 2 other physicians Dr. Pete Duca and the indomitable Dr. Ron Gottleib- what a great team.

I was a cardiology fellow at Graduate Hospital from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Kasparian, fondly known as HK, was a favorite trainer for me during my time there. His generosity and warmth to those he worked with and trained made my time there some of the best years of my life.

In 1979 I was a patient of Dr. Kasparian at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He and his team performed my first (of many) heart catheterizations and I was told that he had actually been part of the team that designed the tool to perform the procedure. I never forgot the wonderful care from Dr. Kasparian and his staff. I am now 86 years old and after two heart bypass surgeries will always give much credit for my long life to this special doctor. Dr. Kasparian was not only one of the most caring, kind, and best physicians that I have ever met but also one that I will never forget having had the pleasure to work for. He and his family will remain always on my heart and in my prayers. We were all blessed to have him in our lives. God bless
