Daniel Alafita Obituary

Daniel was born in Fremont on February 21, 1958 to Ascension (Lopez) and John Alafita. His father survives in Clyde.
He had been raised at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde and graduated from Clyde High School. In 2010, he retired from the Whirlpool Corp in Clyde.
In addition to his father, John, three sons survive, Daniel C. (Katie) Alafita III of Northwood; Charles Alafita and David Alafita both of Bellevue. One brother, Gary Alafita and three sisters, Margaret Alafita, Mary Jane Goodhand and Vicki Alafita all survive.He also has two grandchildren Rowan Alafita and Josalyn Zeller
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Ascension, along with siblings, John Steven Alafita; Rudy Alafita, Daniel and Robert, both infants and Theresa Powers.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio beginning at 9:30 am until the mass begins at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
