Brian Gregory Leo Sr., passed away on June 26, 2025, in
Rockwall, Texas, at the age of 78. Born on February 25, 1947, in Crane, Texas, to Edmond and Carrette Leo, Brian's life was a testament to the enduring power of kindness and dedication to family.
Brian's journey through life was marked by his unwavering love for his beloved wife, Kathleen Leo, whom he married on September 20, 1980. Together, they created a family rooted in love and laughter, including their children Dwayne Sander, Denise Wells and husband Bill, DeAnna Arnold and husband Greg, Brian Gregory Leo, Jr and partner Adrienne Oliver, and Jennifer Carrette Leo. His legacy continued to bloom through the lives of his cherished grandchildren, Zach Wells and wife Melissa, Tyler Wells and wife Ana, Katie McNeil and husband Mike, Brittany Booker and husband Josh, Blake Arnold and wife Hunter, Brooke Arnold, Brianna Arnold, Maya Leo, Seth Leo, and Ethan Alba, as well as his adored great-grandchildren Winnie, Leo, Josie, Andre, Eli, Violette, Victoria, Kameron, Kason, Kaden, and Hayden.
He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Crawley and husband Dace, and his nieces, Kim Crosby and husband Rodney, Beth Pali and husband Brent, and Cheramie Mitchell. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Carrette Leo, and his brother, James Leo.
Brian was a man of many passions. His sense of humor was infectious, and his love for music and singing brought joy to all who had the privilege to listen. As a great caregiver, Brian's loving and kind nature was evident in the way he put his family above anything else. Known affectionately as "Paw Paw" by his grandchildren, he was passionate about education and instilled the value of lifelong learning in his family. Brian's faith-filled life was a cornerstone of his existence. As a religious man, he lived his beliefs through acts of kindness and service to others.
An avid dog lover, Brian found joy in the companionship of his furry friends, and he was meticulous about his yard work, taking pride in his home's appearance. His love for music and singing was a constant source of joy, and he often serenaded his loved ones with his favorite tunes. Brian's love for decorating during the holidays, especially Christmas, was well known, and his home became a wonderland that delighted both young and old.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Reflections Rest Haven Rockwall. Interment following at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
