She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church of Ewing, Virginia. She received an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands and worked as an accountant for over 30 years.
She taught at Mill Creek Christian Academy and Gateway Christian School.
She was the cheer coach and instructor at J. Frank White Academy for 3 years.
She was preceded in death by her:

Father-in-law: Paul Gipson
Mother-in-law: Loraine Knuckles
She is survived by her:
Parents: Ray and Sharon Collett
Husband: Irving Gipson of (35 years)
Daughters: Amber Gipson Collett and Ameilia Gipson
Granddaughters: Chloe Gipson, Abbie Collett, and Sofie Collett
Brother: Richard Collett and wife Julie
Sister: Rebecca Overholt and husband Eddie
Brother-in-law: Caleb Gipson and wife Janice
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 10, 2022, in The Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro Kentucky from 5PM until 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM. Music will be provided by Crystal Brooks, Thelma Goodman, and Benny Howard.
Entombment Service will be Monday, April 11, 2022, in the Green Hills Cemetery Chapel at 10AM.
Pallbearers: Richard Collett, Elliot,Collett, Dalton Collett, Tyler Overholt, Caleb Gipson, and Josh Gipson.
