PIQUA - Diane E. DeBrosse, 70, of Piqua, passed away at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born February 8, 1953, in Piqua to the late Richard E. Feight, Sr. and the late Mary (Shaffer) Barnett.
She married Dennis L. DeBrosse July 13, 1985, at St. Mary Catholic Church and he survives.
Other survivors include two children, Robin (Gary Spain) Evans of Sidney, Ryan (Brittany) DeBrosse of Piqua; five grandchildren, Owen, Preslee, Brady, Korren, Brooke; and three brothers, Richard (Donna) Feight, Jr. of Lockington, Harold (Nancy) Hughes of Piqua, and Ernie (Bob) Barnett of Piqua.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hughes; and two sons, Jamie Richard and Tyler DeBrosse.
Mrs. DeBrosse was a graduate of Piqua Central High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked as a daycare provider out of her home for over 50 years and enjoyed the opportunity to care for the many children in the area. She enjoyed her card club for over 40 years and was active as an auxiliary member of the Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed camping, boating and vacationing with family and friends. Her top priority was her family and she loved them deeply. She was a very selfless and always put others before herself. She was a dependable, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Eric Bowman as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington. Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105; St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Broadway, Piqua, OH 45356; or Piqua Catholic School, 503 W.
