Patricia Keegan Obituary

Patricia M. Keegan, 87, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 surrounded by love of family. Patty was born in Palmer, October 10, 1934 to the late Dominic and Doris A. (Forsman) Magrone. She was a Monson High School graduate Class of 1952 and a lifelong resident of the town she adored, Monson, growing up surrounded by her close extended Italian family. Patty worked at Monson Savings Bank in her early years and then worked in the Monson School District retiring after 25 years as the Director of Food Service. She loved tending to her gardens, feeding and watching the birds, and adored her home that she and her husband built in 1959. She could often be seen in the yard with her Golden Retrievers, Finn and Posey.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Keegan in the year 2000. She was also predeceased by her brother, William Magrone. She leaves her son, Stephen M. Keegan of Palmer; her daughter, Bridget E. Cote and her husband Gregg of Lunenburg; her grandchildren, Jessica Keegan of Norwich, CT and Ben Cote and his wife Kelliann of Clinton; sister in-law, Carol Magrone of Westhampton; a dear friend since childhood, Alice Kozikowski and a close friend and kind neighbor, Kim Wales.

Lombard Funeral Home of Monson has been entrusted with the arrangements. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 from 4pm-7pm in the funeral home. A funeral procession will begin to form at 10am, Tuesday, June 7th at the funeral home for Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Patrick's Church 22 Green St Monson. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery also in Monson.
