Cindy McLaren Obituary

Cindy McLaren

July 22, 1959 -

April 16, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved Cindy.

Cindy was born in Ontario, OR to Ralph and Betty Young. She was the youngest of three daughters. She had two brothers Ken King and Perry Hicks. She grew up in Pendleton, OR before moving to Medford to start her 7th grade year. She graduated from Medford Sr High School in 1977. Cindy had a daughter, Jessica from a previous marriage to Kelly Meister. They remained friends. She then met and married the love of her life, Dan McLaren on June 17, 1989. They had a son together, Ben. She loved being a homemaker best and attending to her gardens full of flowers, vegs and berries. She totally loved her dachshund, Argie and took him everywhere with her. Cindy will always be a hero in her family's eyes as she was an organ donor and was able to help many people. We are so very proud of her. In addition to her beloved husband Dan, Cindy is survived by her daughter Jessica Bolling of Leoma, TN, 4 grandchildren, Lincoln, Amelia, Jericho, Lazarus, her son Ben McLaren of Rogue River, sister Susan Guider of Medford, brother Ken King of Nampa, ID and uncle Darrell Zinn of Weizer, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jodi, and brother Perry.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date this summer.
