Maxine Jenkins Obituary

Mrs. Maxine C. Jenkins was born June 8, 1956 in Yazoo, Mississippi to the parents of Bill and Ida Stuckey. She passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 68 years.
Maxine accepted Christ at an early age and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church Saginaw. She loved to cook, watch movies and spend time with family. She was a homemaker, Child Caregiver, loved fashion and enjoyed dancing. She was a kind, loving and truly beautiful person. Mrs. Jenkins had lots of children through Christ, always willing to spend quality time with them. She loved children, always willing to give unconditional love.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one step-child, Torrey Jenkins of Saginaw, MI; mother, Ida Stuckey; one sister, Linda Washington; one brother, Austin (Frances) Stuckey; many uncles; one sister-in-law, Frances Stuckey; nieces, Ebony and Aalya Stuckey, both of Saginaw and Antionette Kincaid, Atlanta, GA; nephews, Austin Kincaid of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Taylor of Charlotte, NC and Dustin (Jeniffer) Benavides of Saginaw, MI; a host of other dear other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Maxine Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jenkins, Sr.; father, Bill Stuckey; sister, Corrine E. Stuckey; brother, Morris Stuckey; maternal grandparents, Dave (Corrine) Grays; paternal grandparents, Willie Mason and Tommy Stuckey; niece, Elisha Stuckey; brother-in-law, James Washington.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Otis Washington will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
