Arthur Flynn Obituary
Arthur Joseph Flynn Jr, 58, of Vernon, loving and devoted husband of Elise (Wilson) Flynn, passed away October 24, 2023 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Art was born in Manchester, CT on May 12, 1965, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ann (O'Rourke) Flynn Sr.
He graduated from East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT. He worked at Pitney Bowes for a few years and then worked with his brother Mike and his son Dan at Center Motors for many years.
Art's greatest joys came from spending time with his family and friends. He treasured every moment they shared together creating precious memories that we will cherish forever. In addition to his role as a dedicated family man, Art was a hard working professional leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and the customers he served.
In addition to his loving wife Elise, he is survived by his children, Tyler (Amanda) Sonner of Allenhurst, GA, Zachary Sonner of Boston, MA and Annelise Sonner of Vernon, CT. He also leaves five grandchildren, Sydney, Riley, Easton, Penelope and Grayson Sonner of GA. He also leaves his furry companions, Bandit, Bailey, Winston and Finn. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Pamela Stotek, his brother and sisters, Kevin and Karen Flynn, Patricia and Peter Phelon, Ann Marie and Darrell Hoover, and Margaret and Kevin Locke and his sisters-in-law Sally Flynn and Judith Wilson. He will be forever missed by his many nieces and nephews: Michelle, Christian, Daniel, Meghan, Benjamin, Amanda, Matthew, Andrew, Matthew, Cameron and Charlise.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Michael Flynn.
Due to Art's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Art , you were a great guy...never thanked you for all those years ago when you helped me. We were at Bowtie's and you walked myself and a friend to my car. Sincere sympathy to Elise and family. To all the Flynn family and extended families on the very sad passing of our amazing cousin Arthur. Arthur was a lovely guy, a gentleman. I have great memories of Arthur jr when i visited my Aunt Nan and Arthur (RIP) and cousins in Connecticut when I lived in New York.

RIP Uncle Art, you were truly amazing. Thank you for teaching me the ropes with dad. I will miss our morning talks on the way to the garage, lunch break calls. Ill miss going to stop down to catch up and bring coffee. Most of all I'm just missing you. This is not our good bye but see ya later.
