George Joseph Ebner Obituary

Ebner George Joseph Age 94, of Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully at Rydal Park Medical Center on October 29, 2023. An alumnus of Roman Catholic High, he served as an Army Infantryman during the Korean War and held a long career in sales/administration. George loved to dance, attend parades, watch football, and dress up for Halloween. A favorite outing was to The Three Stooges Museum, The Stoogeum, where he would revel in the hilarity of it all. He was known for his sense of humor, curmudgeonly nature, and storytelling of his old Swampoodle days. George is survived by daughter Barbra Schumann and granddaughter Ava Schumann. He was preceded in death by wife Kathleen, daughter Susan, and son Daniel. A private service will be held. Contributions in George's honor can be made to the Humanity Gifts Registry for anatomical study and research.
