I only met John a few years ago when I moved into a home near Rice University where he grew up. During renovations he would stop by to check on progress and relate stories about his time in the house. We shared a cup of coffee and a lot of laughs. He will be missed.

Dear Kathleen,
Diane and I were saddened to learn of your father's passing.
I recall how joyful and happy he was when you and Richard married in 2000, and can only imagine his delight and pride in the beautiful family you created.
Wishing you peace and comfort in the weeks ahead.
