Rock Hill, South Carolina - Remembering the life of a beloved man, Mr. Robert "Bobby" Keith Hunter, aged 89, who peacefully passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the local hospice in Rock Hill.
Born and raised in Lancaster County, SC, Robert was the son of the late Sidney and Lottie Sims Hunter. He mournfully bid goodbye to his cherished daughter, Tamara L Sanders, his two beloved sisters, and two loving brothers before his time. His remarkable work ethic as a plumbing supervisor at Carowinds and his dedicated service at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company are admirable.
A longtime member of India Hook United Methodist Church, Robert embraced life with enthusiasm. An avid sports enthusiast, he found joy in playing and watching any sport involving a ball. As a proud veteran, Robert served with integrity in the US Army, National reserves, and most notably, the US Air Force, a service he held in the highest esteem.
Come and join us in paying homage to Robert at his memorial service held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the India United Methodist Church, 3300 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC. Reverend Michael Walker will officiate this solemn event. The burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park on Hollis Lakes Road following the service. A gathering to share memories and condolences will be held from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine McClain Hunter and their cherished grandson, Benjamin A Sanders of Rock Hill, SC.

So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing, condolences to Rainy and family, Sorry I could not be there, I had spinal fusion on Oct 24, I had been cutting their grass for them for months, I never could slip away without Rainy slipping money into my hand, She even sent Bobby to find me and pay me lol last thing I did was finish Rainey s chicken coupe addition Bobby never got finished, he had went to the hospital the day before, AT EASE SOLDIER... REST IN PEACE... RD
