Jennifer Kent Obituary

Jennifer A. Kent, 39, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a long illness with her family by her side. Born in Fall River, daughter of Edward T. and Patricia A. (Motta) Kent of Dartmouth, she was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. She was a Project Manager for PPD Pharmaceuticals in Georgia. Jennifer enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a beautiful, brilliant, charming, witty and amazing woman who could light up a room. Including her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother: Jeannette Motta of Westport; aunts and uncles: Beverly and Thomas Hancock of Westport, Paul and Linda Motta of Westport and Jane and John Leonard of Winthrop, MA; godfather: Dana Riley of Fairhaven. She was a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M. Calling hours Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
