Janice Tester Obituary

Janice Tester

January 21, 1966 - July 25, 2025

JANICE R. LYNCH TESTER

January 21, 1966 – July 25, 2025

Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalm 121

I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Janice loved the Lord with all of her heart and soul, and anything that she did was all for God's glory. Her ultimate goal in life was to please God & to witness to everyone the goodness of God, His love, and Salvation.

Janice was the bestest friend anyone could ever have, generous, fun-loving, and beautiful inside and out.

She faced her cancer with faith and fight, neither of which faded over time, 'SHE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, SHE FINISHED HER COURSE & SHE KEPT THE FAITH". Janice added beauty to everything around her through her personality & crafting skills.

Janice was an active member of Mount Moriah Church and will be greatly missed by all (especially her bestie). She was a dedicated employee of Cash Express for 18 years, and her customers loved her & cherished her friendship.

Janice was preceded in death by: Mother, Gladys Lynch; Son, Jevon Robert Lynch; Sister, Elizabeth Gent; Brothers, Robert "Pnut" Bowers and Willie Spangler "Pops"; and a special niece, Angela Estes Arthur.

Left to cherish her memory: Her husband, Richard Tester; Daughters, Caitlin Johnson, Brandi Canter, and Tamara Parkey; Son, David (DJ) Johnson; Grand-daughters, Cadience, Lacy, and Kyley; Grand-Sons, Nolan "Pnut", Hayden, Charles, Wayne, and Connor; Siblings, Louise Estes, Eleanore (Ellie) Worley, and Carol Holt; as well as, Ron Hawk, Charles Lynch, Clarence Lynch, and Jim Lynch.

"THE ONLY SCARS IN HEAVEN ARE ON THE HANDS THAT HOLDS ME NOW"
