Rick Schroder Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Schroder, a cherished husband, father, son, and friend. Rick was born on February 21, 1958, in Reno, Nevada, and grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Rick left this world surrounded by the love of his family in Klamath Falls on October 29.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Whitney McCurdy-Schroder (St. Louis), and their children Madison, Olivia, Makena (and husband Alex Stork), Gannon (wife Kasey Toedtemeier), his mother and father, Lee and Kaleo Schroder, and sisters Kaleo Renstrom and Barbara Story.

Rick was a loving and dedicated family man whose life was filled with laughter and adventure. His role as a husband and father was central to his identity.

We were devastated to hear about Rick. That guy was always smiling. When he would come to town he would always stop by. He was a riot and boy did he love his wife and those precious kids of his. He always brought us up to date on their lives. His Christmas card that one year was unforgettable and cracked us up. God be with your whole family during this difficult time. Love you all, Art and Kelley Alaniz
