He also pastored; Salem WV Baptist, Clendenin Baptist and Nitro Baptist.
Cliff was always counseling families, visiting patients in hospitals and prison inmates. His passion for helping others led him to continue his education and became a drug and alcohol counselor. He served with Shawnee Hills in Clay, Charleston, Terra Alta and Beckley WV. Cliff and Judy also led a Childrens Home at Davis-Stuart Inc in Lewisburg and fostered several children.
Cliff loved the Dodgers, Lakers, and all animals (especially cats). He always found good in someone and was a hugger. His favorite thing to say was Merry Christmas.

I miss them so much in my small community beauty shop. Clifford walked everyday passed my shop and him and Mrs. Judy both got their haircut there. He would come in and give use a scripture or a song to highlight our day. Mrs Judy was a devoted Christian that always had a spiritual positive outlook for everyone to look up too. I Miss them and the message they shared with us when ever they were at my shop. They will be forever Loved in our community.
