Dannette Miyashiro Obituary

DANNETTE EMI MIYASHIRO Dannette Miyashiro passed away on January 26, 2024. She was born on December 10, 1955 in Honolulu and grew up in the Liliha area. Dannette graduated from McKinley High School and the University of Hawaii with a degree in business administration. She worked for several local and national CPA firms and earned her CPA certification. Her career took her to the private sector where she worked in the internal audit department at BHP Hawaii and later in the Jet Fuel Marketing department at Tesoro Hawaii. Dannette enjoyed traveling to Japan, especially Hokkaido. She is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Marjorie Kawamoto. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Alton Miyashiro and son, Trent Miyashiro. She is also survived by her brother, Duane Kawamoto. Private services held. The family request no koden (monetary gifts). Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel
