Kathy Olson Obituary

Kathy Ann Olson, of Gillette, WY, passed away October 26, 2023. She was born on April 25, 1959 to John and Wanda Campbell in Erie, Pennsylvania. She was loving raised by her father and her step-mother, Susan. Kathy attended Greeley Central High School and was a 1977 graduate. She married Clifford Olson on June 24, 1978 in Longmont, CO. The couple moved to Hannah, Wyoming, in 1979 and Kathy and Clifford had two sons, Cody and Billy. In 1986 the couple relocated to Longmont and Kathy went to work at Longmont Tile. Kathy also worked for the Stewart Title Company while the family lived in Greeley, as well as the Weld County Title Company. When Kathy left Weld County Title, she dedicated herself to working at the Greeley DMV for over 15 years. The family lived in Johnstown but relocated back to Gillette, Wyoming in the November of 2022. Kathy loved the outdoors and spending her time on trails. She was a daughter, loving wife and mother and enjoyed caring for her family. She also spent her time volunteering at the Senior Living Center in Gillette Wyoming. She was the type of person who put others before herself. She enjoyed taking crocheting and knitting classes. She loved Mickey Mouse and collected various Mickey and Disney items. She is survived by her husband Clifford, her son, Cody Olson, grandchildren, Anna Marie Olson, Dominic Olson, Hunter Olson, Addisyn Olson, her step mother Susan, and step-brother, Robert Campbell. Kathy is preceded in death by her father, John, brother, Johnny Campbell, son, Billy Olson, father-in-law, Donald Olson and mother-in-law, Dee Olson.
