Robert Dodson Obituary
He was a lifelong farmer and truck driver. Prior to retirement he worked at Southern States for 16 years. He was a member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children Roberta Bordlamay and husband Adrian, Eileen Dodson, Patricia Spates, Lillie Marshall and husband Edward, Donna Snyder and husband Steven, Robert Dodson Jr. and wife Melinda, John Dodson and wife Melanie, James Dodson and wife Kathleen, 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 10th at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertyown, 11802 Liberty Rd., Frederick.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11th at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13556 Glissans Mill Rd., Mt. Airy, with Pastor Greg Quintrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Locust Grove Cemetery Fund, 13556 Glissans Mill Rd., Mt. Airy, 21771.
