John Vittoria Obituary

John F. Vittoria, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Bristol on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Arline (Chamberlain) Vittoria for 67 years before his passing.

Born in Canonsburg, PA, John was the son of the late Alfonso and Angelina (Ferrara) Vittoria.

In addition to his wife Arline, John also leaves behind his children: John Michael Vittoria (Anne Marie) of Bristol, Joyce Garfield (Donald) of Massachusetts, Celeste Amos (Carl) of Florida, Christopher Vittoria (Barbara) of Warren; his 11 grandchildren, his 11 great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

John was pre-deceased by his parents and his siblings Anthony and Joseph Vittoria.

Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice, 1184 E. Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
