I just heard today about us losing a very bright light in the lives of those of us lucky enough to have known Jonathan.
I met Jonathan and his family through the MCA. I worked with him on many projects within the Association and had the privilege of presenting he and DI Seamers the Chairman's Award for their contributions. He was quick to volunteer, a hard worker, a insightful contributor to the Association Board, a regular sponsor of events but more importantly he was great fun to be around.
I'm sure he could have made a great living being a professional comedian if he wanted to.
Our sincere condolences to the Rider family and friends. We will truly miss your smile and warm spirit.

I just heard about Jonathan's passing and wanted to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family. Jonathan was truly a remarkable person, with whom I had the pleasure of working on the Metal Construction Association's board during his days at DI Seamers. He was very passionate and always offered solid direction and good advice. May you and your family find comfort in the love and memories you shared with him. Prayers Up!
