CLINTON — Arthur Lee Naylor, 62, of 2449 Rabbit St., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at his home.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, at Piney Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Keith Carter and the Rev. Michael Bartlett officiating. Interment will be in the Harnett Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Arthur Lee, born Sept. 14, 1961 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Leatrice Naylor and Marilyn Crumpler Naylor. He was a farmer and a member of Piney Green Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and served as a Deacon. He served on the Sampson Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees and on the Sampson County Health Board. He was a former member of the Herring Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include: wife, Tammy Williams Naylor; daughter, Leslie Naylor Bartlett and husband Michael; son, Daniel Lee Naylor; sisters, Barbara Naylor Carter and husband John and Sue Naylor Driver; brother, Sidney Keith Naylor and wife Tempa; and grandchildren, Kenzie Naylor, Caden Naylor and Mary Lynn Bartlett.
