Andrea Koury Obituary
Andrea Koury, 49, of West Pittston, passed away Sunday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2023, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born April 16, 1974, in Bear Creek, she was the daughter of Sarah Burke Koury, of Summerfield, Fla., and the late Michael P. Koury.
Andrea was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1992, and Pennsylvania State University.
She was employed as a real estate appraiser at Oracle Appraisals, West Pittston.
Andrea was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. She also had a special love of all animals. Andrea aspired for world peace. Her motto was always, "One Love."
In addition to her father, Michael, she was preceded in death by her son, Coury Bainbridge; and brother, Keith Koury.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, Sarah, are her twin sons, Keevan and Keith Carey, West Pittston; sisters, Michelle Rogan and her husband, Ned, Wilkes-Barre; and Colleen Youtsey and her husband, Scott, Gainesville, Ga.; brother, Mark Koury and his wife, Sharon, Clemont, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Andrea's family is thankful that she was able to be an organ donor and give the gift of life to others.
Funeral services for Andrea will be private and held at the convenience of the family from Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St. Plains Twp.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612; or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22324, New York, NY 10087.

Dear Mrs Koury and family,
I was so saddened by the news of Andrea´s passing. I will always have great memories of Andrea and I as kids playing on our street, or over each others houses. She made it so easy to be my friend when I moved in across the street. I continue to pray for you in this difficult time.
