Eddie O Brien was a "good guy" . In the end that is a very important statement ,said only about a few. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and get Irish smile . R I P

With tears in my eyes, I say very sorry for your loss of Eddie to the O'Brien family. I could say that Eddie was the the second best mailman only because I was the first best mailman. (fellow, marine who brought so many laughs during that time) Jack and Nola Brett

Dearest O’Brien family - my sincere condolences for the loss of this amazing man. Eddie is now enjoying his Heavenly inheritance & with our Lord & the many family & friends who have gone before him including my Mark. He will be missed by so many who loved him - we will all be together one day in Paradise with our dear friend. May God bring peace & love to this beautiful family as they gather to celebrate Eddie’s life! I love you!

Saddened to hear the news, but I know that the entire O´Brien clan can be comforted knowing just how beloved he was - and the positive impact he had on so many people.
Whether he was Coach or Mr. O´Brien to you, it was always a pleasure to chat with him. His love of baseball combined with extraordinary patience resulted in a coach that hundreds were thankful to have had.
Thoughts and love to the entire family, as well as all of his friends - we lost a good one, but he will not be forgotten. RIP
