Carol SAVARINO Obituary
(nee Brown)
Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022, at the age of 87. Carol and her beloved husband, Salvatore J. "Sonny" Savarino, celebrated 65 years of marriage on June 15, 2022. Devoted mother of Samuel (Anne), Peter (Carmella), Robert and Bethann (Brian) Greaves; loving grandmother of eight grandchildren; dear sister of the late Barbara (Thomas) Rao; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present Tuesday, from 4-7 PM, at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.), where prayers will be offered Wednesday, at 9:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Gregory the Great Church, at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
