Helen Schnackenberg Obituary

Helen used to call me on sad anniversaries, like her father's passing. I cheered her up by helping her remember more positive events like birthdays. Today is her birthday and that makes me smile.

I am so sad to learn about Helen´s passing. Helen was my beautiful friend since college. From Colorado to Aruba to Plum Island we had many, many laughs together. I will never forget her laughter and will always think fondly of our memories.
My thoughts are with her family

When Helen attended Liverpool HS I referred to her as Helen of Troy. She was in my opinion the most beautiful girl on the planet and of course was one of our beauty queens. She left both Liverpool and this world too soon. God Bless you Helen.

I am so sad to hear of Helen's passing. She was a classmate back at Pittsfield High School Class of 77 and I hadn´t seen her in many years. Please know that my heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with her family & friends at this difficult time.

Helen was always so supportive and my biggest advocate. She was my voice when I needed help finding my words. She always made sure to check on myself and my kids. This makes me so sad.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

WE were. shocked to learn of Helen's death. We loved our long talks at the pool every summer, and our common interests in fighting for a better and more peacfl world. She was truly a lovely and kind woman and she will be missed by those of us At Birchwood who had the privelege of knowing her.

My sincere condolences to your family. Many years ago in high school Helen gave me a small jewelry box for my birthday. I still have it after all these years. Each time I saw it I would think of her and smile...and even now, when I look at that box, I can smile knowing that her life, love, and friendship has been a blessing to so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sad. Thinking about her Mom and family and happy that we had many wonderful adventures together.

Dear Chip,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Helen was a beautiful person who worked with so many challenged people in her profession that I know she was carried in the arms of an Angel. I have never seen a person wind surfing and not thought about the image of Helen on the ocean with her beautiful blonde hair in the wind.

I´m am so sad to hear this news. Helen and I had so much fun together along with many laughs. We would always get together Xmas eve for a few hours to catch up on East New Lenox Rd. You have my deepest sympathies and your all in my thoughts and prayers .
