Elaine Snow Obituary

Elaine Suzanne Snow
Born: August 28, 1950 in Spring Valley, IL
Died: September 26, 2023 in Princeton, IL
Elaine Suzanne Snow, 73, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away on September 26, 2023, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born in Spring Valley, Illinois on August 28, 1950, to Charles William Snow and Mary Anna (Icenogle) Snow. Elaine graduated from Tiskilwa High School.
Elaine was a very social person who never met a stranger and had a zest for life. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends at the Bureau County Senior Center and going on numerous outings with the group. Her fun-filled social life included bingo and fellowship at the Princeton Methodist Church. She loved making her friends and family feel special on their birthdays, anniversaries and holidays with decorated greeting cards and phone calls - sometimes with a song.
Elaine is survived by her sisters: Cherryl (Arlyn) Cook of California, Kathy (Don) Wrighton of California and Sally Gustafson of Texas; her brother: Steve (Kathy) Snow of Princeton; nieces: Lisa (Snow) McDonald of California, Denise Snow of North Dakota, Aimee Snow of Texas, Roben Cotton of Metamora, Stephanie (Cotton) Haney of Metamora, Marissa (Gustafson) Velasquez of Texas and Ashley (Snow) Bickett of Princeton; and nephew Erik Gustafson of Texas in addition to seven grand nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents: her brother, Richard Snow; her sister, Paula (Snow) Cotton, brother-in-law, Tom Cotton; her niece, Lori Snow, and her nephew Nikolas Vangeison.
A private family graveside service will be held on October 17th. Contributions in Elaine's memory can be made to the Bureau County Senior Center.
She will be sorely missed by her family and the many people whose lives she touched. May her memories bring you comfort and peace.
