Mickey Hall Obituary

Mickey Dean Hall of Klamath Falls, Oregon passed into his heavenly home on November 4, 2023 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born December 19, 1960 in Yuba City. Mick was the youngest of three children born to Carl and Wilma Hall of Yuba City. He was a beloved Son, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

He attended Tierra Buena Grammar where he was a member of scout troop No. 43, and played on the Sutter Buttes Little League teams. He was a member of the Sutter Buttes All Stars. At Yuba City High, he played on the golf team. He graduated from Yuba City High and attended Chico State.

While in High School he worked part time for Sprouse Rietz in Yuba City, and began his career in retail after graduating. He continued in retail in Nevada and California for several years. In 2001 he moved to Corvallis, Oregon, working for Rite Aid.

He managed Rite Aid Stores in Oregon until 2021, when he resigned as manager of Rite Aid in Klamath Falls and became Merchandising Manager for southern Oregon Rite Aid where he was working at the time of his death. He loved his many years in Retail and had great stories to tell about some of the people he met along the way. He will be missed not only by his loving family but his Rite Aid family of employees he loved and appreciated.

He loved camping and going to the beach when he had any free time. His favorite time at the beach was with his soulmate Roberta. They collected rocks on the beach for a project he had planned for retirement. He was a longtime fan of college football. His favorite teams being Oregon State Beavers and Oklahoma Sooners. Even in their worst times he was a diehard Oakland A's fan.

He loved golfing and in his younger golfing days he made a hole in one at Plumas Lake, unfortunately he didn't have enough cash with him to offer refreshments at the clubhouse, so he didn't notify the club.

He is survived by his soulmate Roberta Crow, his son Joshua (Rebecca) two grandsons, Whitaker and William of Tonopah, Nevada. I am so sorry for your loss and I am so saddened to hear of Mickey's passing
I believe we went to 2nd grade together at April Lane School. I think of Mickey often especially this time of year. In Mrs Corbins 2nd grade class he shared his love for the Christmas song Snoopy and the Red Baron.... I still love that song to this day and always think of Mickey when I hear it
