Aronda Pruitt-Parker Obituary

Funeral service for Aronda Pruitt-Parker 67, "Rose" will be Saturday October 21, at 1 pm at Anniston Full Gospel Holy Temple, Rev. Dann D. Huguley, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Parker's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Parker passed away on October 7, 2023 at Regional Medical Center. A wake will be Friday October 20, at the St. John United Methodist Church, 4-6 pm. Mrs. Parker graduated from Anniston High School, Class of 1974. Survivors include her children: Shawn Parker (Ursula Figures), Ron "Tiny" Parker, and Christie Parker (Drek Pearson); grandchildren: Jaylon Parker, Zyaire Rice, D'Ayjah Jones, Shacareyonia Montgomery, De'Metriauna Gaston, Marquavious Gaston, Kayden Pearson, Tyshawn Toney and Devonte Hillard; siblings: Jeanette (Larry) Murray, Brenda (Ralph) Walker, Franklin Pruitt Jr, Mundy (Will) Garrett, Karen (Ronnie) Thompson, Dale (Cheryl) Thomas, Terry Thomas, Ronnie Lee (Cheryl) Morrow, Jeraldine (Darrell) Cox, Kim Moore, Cleo Toney Charlene Moore, Corine Miller, Dorothy Ann Moore, Charles Jr (Sheila) Moore; aunt: Earnestine Graves, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Corine Pruitt, siblings, Kurley Joe Dorthard, Diane Pruitt, Carlton Pruitt, Janice Madden, Theo Moore and Dorthy Moore, special cousin, Theodore Jackson.
