Ronald Raymond Guillen





Ronald Raymond Guillen, born April 14th, 1948 went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2023. Ron was an Air Force veteran, Husband, Brother, and Uncle. He was preceded by parents Isabelle and Vicente Guillen and niece Melanie Guillen. He is survived by wife Lynne Peffley, siblings Vincent Guillen (Anna), Marcia Furnas (Len), Gary Guillen (Amy), Eppie Guillen, Sharon Estrada (Sam), John Guillen (Michael), special cousin Maxine Salazar, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ron was a Bone Marrow Donor in the 80's in Chandler Arizona which helped prolong the life of a young man named Todd in St Louis Mo. For his community service as a donor, he was named Motorola employee of the year. He was eventually reunited with Todd and his family; they kept in close contact thereafter. Ron was Todd's hero, they became close friends and visited often. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Services on Thursday November 16th, 2023, at the Shrine of St Bernadette 11509 Indian School Rd NE, with a 9:30 am Rosary and 10am funeral service. A reception at 11am at the St Bernadette Parish Hall. Interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2pm.
