Justin Baird Obituary
On Friday, November 4, 2023 Justin Baird was on his way to the mountains to take his dogs on a run when he suffered a heart attack from which he did not survive. There were never any indications that he had a heart issue and he was a picture of health. He worked out every day and was in great physical condition. He was even watching what he was eating, often referring to the annual family trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands planned for later this month, where he would go scuba diving every day. It was his favorite place.
He also told us all recently that he was in the best spiritual condition and had more peace than at any time in his entire life. He was where we all strive to be. We will miss so much about him; his infectious laugh, his compassion for people, his generosity, his wit and sense of humor, his intensity for life, his ability to forgive and his willingness to try anything.
As a final act of compassion and generosity, and because of his otherwise incredible health, Justin was able to bless many others with the gift of life through organ donation. And in true Justin fashion, he got a parade as he was led away attended by hundreds of family, friends and hospital staff. They call it an Honor Walk and it was truly amazing.
More than anything else though we will remember the passion with which he loved his family and most especially Jaxon (12) and Jase (10). There was nothing in the world more important to Justin than his boys.
Justin is survived by his sons, Jaxon and Jase, parents, Scott and Teri, brother and sister-in-law Josh and Desiree and his wife, Adrianne.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Legacy Church â€" East Campus, 4700 Wyoming Blvd. NE, on Sunday, November 12, 2023 @ 3:00 p.m., with a reception to follow at Tanoan Country Club, 10801 Academy Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

Baird Family,
Reading Justin's obituary in complete shock. I am so incredibly sorry to hear of his death. I will always remember his kindness and laughter and that crazy photo of him on the ocean floor smiling with a giant shark swimming right behind him, without a care in the world. Adrianne, Teri, Scott, Josh, Desiree, I have no words to convey the depth of emotion. Love and God's peace to all of you.
