Peacefully at Calvary Rest Home on February 17, 2021. Dearly loved mother of Roger and Janice (Christchurch), Yvonne and Steve McNeil (Dunedin), Garth (GD) and Ingrid (Invercargill), and Maryanne Turton (Methven). Dearest nana of her 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we
watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
A service to celebrate Ailsa's life will be held in the Chapel at Calvary Hospital, on Monday, February 22, at 1.30pm, followed by a private interment. No flowers please, but at Ailsa's request dress in cheerful colours. Messages to The Dawson Family, PO Box 632, Invercargill.
