Our condolences to Ron's family, great memories of working with Ron at John Edmond Ltd. Always a great cheerful day when Ron was around, great knowledge and helped staff when ever there was guidance required. The inter-branch competition 1990 in Alexandra should be etched in stone and written in the history book.

Ron I remember my first day in my building apprenticeship when I was working for Neil Robertson.
You sold me my first lot of building tools.
Spent more time laughing at your humor.
And your jokes.

Absolutely lovely neighbours and friends, we were across the road in the top story house years ago and he always said hello or gave a wave to us kids, so friendly and a big smile and spoke so proudly of his own children. Thoughts are with the family, hugs to Dorothy, thinking of you xoxo

I was so sorry to read of Ron's passing, Dorothy and family please accept my deepest sympathy. During my years at John Edmond Ltd Ron was always a breath of fresh air, a truly fun and happy man to be around and I loved having a yarn and enjoyed his company. Over the years we'd "bump" into him occasionally out and about which was always a pleasant exchange of stories and information, he'd manage to keep me up to date with all the old Edmonds people and what everyone was up to. He'll be sorely missed - rest in peace Ron. Joy Tait (nee Marshall)
