MARIA RODRIQUEZ Obituary

Maria Concepcion Rodriquez, aged 93, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 3, 2022, in

Claypool, Arizona. She was born on October 3, 1928, in Miami,

Arizona, to Miguel and Piedad Gutierrez. Maria was the youngest, and the only daughter of six children. She graduated from Globe High School, and at 21, she met and married the love of her life Armando “Flash” Rodriquez, and also raised four children. Maria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved sports and was always her family’s #1 fan. Concha’s kitchen was the heart of her home. Concha was an incredible cook. Her family and friends loved her tortillas, tamales, chile, and chorizo. Her warmth and love were felt through her food. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Volunteering and serving until she went to be with the Lord; she contributed many things to her Catholic Community.
