Gina Collins Obituary

I loved her kindness, compassion and support. I still have the white feather she gave me. saying "you are earning your angel wings" I know she has hers.

what a beautiful soul. she is gone but never forgotten. my memories of her make me smile and i store them like treasures

Gina was a great friend, and Co-Worker. I loved her cookies and great conversation. She was a friend who always knew how to make you laugh. The Funny Tiktoks, Snapchats, and text messages we shared will be cherished. You were loved

Gina was a kind soul. Beautiful person inside and out. I will miss all of our talks and your silly snapchats. Rest in peace my sweet friend.

Many prayers are with the family. The world is a lesser place. Prayers for peace in the days, months and years to come.

I had the honor of working with Gina at Atrium Health. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have met such an amazing person. She went out of her way to make everyone she met feel special and loved. Even in hard times, she was a source of wisdom, kindness, and positivity. Sending prayers to the family in these difficult times.

There are no words that can adequately express how amazing Regina was. Our Onboarding Team was blessed to have her become part of our group last March ... since then she made our team a family. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on through us and will have a lasting impact on Atrium Health’s Onboarding program forever. Regina not only helped me grow as a leader but as a mom and a friend. I will miss her tremendously and I’m so grateful to have been privileged to have built so many memories in such a short period of time. Regina loved harder than I’ve ever seen anyone love before. She always talked about her family, pets and love for crafting with such passion. She could definitely be counted on to send a funny video or two a week and an uplifting message when we didn’t even know we needed it.

I pray all who loved her can find comfort and peace during this difficult time- especially her family.

Gina was a beautiful lady, inside and out, and I was blessed to be able to call her a friend. She left everyone in her path with a smile and a lot of times, a hysterical laugh. She was just full of life, taken way too soon. Heaven sure has gained the most beautiful angel. Rest peacefully Gina. Love and prayers for your family.

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Gina but her love of others is widely known. Many have been blessed with her singing and special care. My prayers are with Russ and the entire Collins family.

Gina was such a wonderful person/teammate to work with. She will be greatly missed by all of the teams she worked with. My thoughts and prayers will be with her family and all those who knew and loved her.

I’m so sad hearing this news! Regina was beautiful inside and out and had the sweetest smile!
I still have a picture of Regina, Suzanne and Erin at Wingate University graduation. I also found a beautiful and thoughtful card she made for my mom (Lorraine) while going through her things. I’m lifting you all up with prayer, and know that you all and her children can be so proud of their mother . We know for a fact that she is healthy again!
