(Of Te Anau)

Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday, August 9, 2024. Aged 86 years. Loved son of the late Robert (Bob) and Edith (Edie) Thompson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sylvia and Neil Wyeth (Invercargill), Catherine and Allan Brown (Otautau), Nelson* and Kathy* Greaney, Vernon and Maggie (Te Anau). A loved uncle and great and great-great-uncle to his nieces and nephews. Will be missed by his many friends who have looked out for him. "A Great Outdoors Man" A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill on Monday, August 19, at 11.30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hollyford Conservation Trust can be made at the service.
